L. Ali Khan
Professor of Law, received his J.S.D. (1983) and LL.M. (1980) from New York University
and the LL.B. from Punjab University (Pakistan) in 1976. He also holds a B.Sc. (Civil
Engineering) (1969) and an M.A. (1973) from Punjab University. He was the Robert Marshall
Fellow in Civil Liberties and Judge Jacob D. Fuchsberg Fellow in Criminal Law at New York
University. From 1977 to 1978 he engaged in the practice of international trade law. In
1985 he received a certificate of participation from the International Institute of Human
Rights in France. He is a member of the New York Bar. Professor Khan teaches International Law, Comparative Law, Law and Human Rights, International Business Transactions,
and Payment Systems.
